Personnel Policies for Quality Customer Experiences
IPM employees and parking staff are hand picked to conform to our high standards. Beyond standard employment screenings, our applicants answer extensive essay questions designed to understand their work ethic and values. Interviews are always conducted by trained, experienced managers. Driving records, criminal background checks and reference checks are always conducted by an outside consulting firm. All employees are screened and interviewed by IPM's Operation's Managers, and a final interview with our Director of Operations before employed by the company.
IPM conducts mandatory drug testing before hiring and all employees are subject to additional random drug tests. Training is an integral part of our hiring process. All parking attendants and lot checkers are trained in job responsibilities, customer service, operational procedures, equipment and injury illness prevention prior to any assignments. IPM parking attendants and lot checkers can be easily identified by their uniform. IPM Uniforms, worn at all times, are three button short sleeve red shirts with the IPM logo and either tan or black slacks. Other seasonal logo wear is also provided to all employees. Identification tags with the employee's picture will always be present.
